The styling is very nice and elegant. The price was very reasonalble and it was shipped quickly. I am very happy with the purchase on the whole. The only problem, albeit a small one, is that it loses or gains 30-60 seconds a day and I can't seem to get the adjustment right that would correct it.
Seiko 5 Not what I expected form Seiko - Grampy - California Normally I would have expected much more than I received. Watch is good looking, fit not what I am used to from a Seiko, latch is not the quality I'm used to from Seiko. But the big disappointment is the fact it loses time and won't stay wound for more than a few hours after I take it off. Tried to return, but missed the window. Sorry, but probably the last Seiko I will buy.

I've always wanted a wristwatch with a rectangular face. I'm also a fan of Art Deco. When my stainless Rolex Datejust needed to be shipped off for its regular servicing, I wanted a replacement that would look nice, be durable, and not cost a pile of money.
I picked up this Armitron watch several weeks ago, and I have not been disappointed. This watch really looks very nice on the wrist, and it's held up very well throughout the craziness of my daily routines. I really like the clasp on the bracelet; all I have to do is slightly pinch each side & it pops off easily, yet it doesn't come off by itself during normal wear. Setting the time & date is done very easily by pulling out the crown & adjusting it accordingly...pretty much a straightforward operation.
The only complaint I have about this watch, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the black face of the watch has a texture to it, and this texture makes it quite hard to see the hands in certain lighting conditions. Nevertheless, this is a minor complaint & the watch's good points outweigh this one negative issue.
Once my trusty Datejust returns, I'm pretty sure I'll alternate between wearing it and this Armitron.

The Baby-G G-MS Cool and Tough was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. I have a small wrist, so it looks a bit clunkier than I wanted. But I still love it. It was easy to take out extra links, just using a safety pin as someone suggested. The black and silver looks much nicer than the usual plastic band and the light pink face just sets it off, but it still goes with everything. I wanted this watch to wear with casual clothes but still look a bit dressier. I have "old" eyes, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to read the digital dials, but I have no problem with that. I do find the buttons a bit hard to push in unless you push them "just so." Setting the watch was a breeze -- I just did it while I was reading the manual. I love all the functionality, the five alarms (I'm a snoozer), the timer, the world clocks, the stopwatch, all in a very cool-looking watch. I gave it four stars because of the size/weight (just because I have a tiny wrist) and the buttons being a bit hard to push. Pretty minor things, and I'd definitely recommend this watch to anyone who likes to wear sport watches but wants something a bit dressier to wear everyday.

Not from Amazon - T. Orth - Boise, ID USA This says that the watch is sold by and ships from Amazon.com; however, I received mine from WatchColony. This was a hassle when it came to returning the watch. WatchColony has a website, but they don't answer their email and the only way to contact them was by phone. When I called and explained that I wanted to return the watch, they said I only had 30 days from the purchase date in which to do so. I explained that although the purchase had in fact been made on November 18, I did not receive the watch until Christmas as a gift, so I would have no way of meeting the 30 day policy. In light of that, they allowed me to return the watch after grilling me on its condition, packaging, tags, etc. minus a restocking fee, plus I had to pay for shipping. Further, they said they would only issue a credit to the Amazon.com account that purchased the watch, so I got nothing out of this deal. In hindsight, I probably should have tried to sell the watch on eBay or something.
